Delta Leasing was established in 2002 to provide professional commercial leasing services for Alaska’s major industries, including oil and gas, construction, and transportation. Today, Delta’s customer list reads like a “who’s who” among Alaska’s business leaders.

Matt Thorpe - Principal, Sales
Matt Thorpe brings 25 years of successful senior management experience to Delta Leasing. As one of the original cofounders of Delta Leasing, he has been involved with almost every facet of the company’s living facility and equipment leasing operations since the company’s inception. Matt provides valuable input on everything from design considerations, financial structuring, vendor selection and the sales and marketing of Delta’s products and services. In addition to overseeing the business development for the company, he is responsible for the management of Delta’s entire vehicle and equipment inventory both in Anchorage and on the North Slope.
Prior to founding Delta, Matt had over seventeen years of experience in the auto industry, and was the General Manager for the largest Chrysler Dodge franchise in the Pacific Northwest. This experience coupled with his management and marketing background has helped bring Delta Leasing from a startup business to the successful entity that it is today.
John McGrew – Principal, Consultant
John brings to Delta a wealth of knowledge from his successful twenty-eight year career as a banker, financier and real estate developer. John’s experience in banking and finance includes working in leadership roles at First National Bank Alaska, Security National Trust and Alaska Southern Partners.
In addition, John has expertise in real estate and property development throughout Alaska, as a partner with TC Developers and Capital Holding Company, and as a development consultant for Venture Development Group, one of Alaska’s largest development companies. John was involved in the planning process for the new Anchorage De’nina Convention Center, as well as numerous office buildings, retail complexes, apartment buildings and other commercial developments in Anchorage and in rural Alaska.
Ed Gohr – Principal, Project Management
Ed Gohr has over 20 years of experience in Project Management in the oil and gas construction industry. Ed has a degree in Finance from Central Washington University. He is an active member of the Project Management Institute and holds a PMP accreditation. Ed has successfully managed numerous fabrication/installation projects from both the owner side and contractor side of the fence. He is a founding partner for Delta Leasing and Delta Development Group and oversees the projects, scheduling, and construction operations for the company.
Rudi Von Imhof – Principal, Funding & Finances
Rudi has over fifteen years of experience in business operations and has owned and operated several companies in both the tourism industry and real estate industry, including Alaska Fishing Adventures, Alaska Travel Adventures, Alaska Outdoor Adventures, Alaska Snow Safaris and RNV Management Services. Working with CIRI Tourism, Rudi assisted with CIRI’s major acquisition of Alaska Heritage Tours and the operations of the company. In addition, Rudi has been the developer and project manager for several large scale commercial construction projects in the Anchorage area. A lifelong Alaskan, Rudi is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys flying, fishing, and hunting.
